The extra day.

Macho constructed with Habitat most of the day. Came home hungry and tired.

I took advantage of having the house to myself. Attempted to organize my paperwork from garden club and Master Gardeners. It is now somewhat contained in two milk crates. Only slightly better.

I got a good walk in this morning. The day has been gorgeous.

I vacuumed a bit. Washed clothes. Scrubbed one bathroom. Laundered shower curtain. Fixed our internet problem. Communicated via social media with garden club and Master Gardeners. Communicated with 2/3 children and one sibling. Talked with neighbors over the fence. Went outside as much as I could.

3/4 peonies that we planted weeks back are coming up. I'm pretty stoked about that. I've planted some coleus seeds and milkweed seeds in small starter pots. Not confident they will come up since it is so early. I have more seeds. I want to put my basil and parsley seeds in soil, but I'm impatiently waiting.

I am about out of gas.

Our Mardi Gras/bingo party was a huge success. We sold all 90 tickets!

Fun friends with Macho.

Another raised bed was installed yesterday.

Macho's potato patch.

Got to get horizontal.
Shalom.

Tempis fugit.

Life in the fast lane. I haven't posted in over a month? I haven't posted a picture since December? Since we last met....

Daffodils have been in bloom. My new pink ones have buds, will post photo when they bloom.
I am stoked waiting on them.

We attended a fun 80's trivia party.

Super Bowl weekend we visited Out of Town Son.
We watched his girls both play basketball.
We visited the Budweiser clydesdales. They are amazing.

That weekend we had a lovely meal at the Sycamore House in BSL with my coast sibs.

Super Bowl food. Man. Yum.

My friend and I hosted the February garden club meeting.
She is the best and everything was just right.

We have finished harvesting our fall/winter garden. Prep is now underway for potatoes. That is what Mr. Macho has decided to plant. I am all in. We also plan to install a new raised bed to replace the salad table we are donating to the local assisted living home.

Sister Steph left some kumquats for me via Sister Paulette.
I came straight home and made marmalade. It is way thick. My first marmalade effort. I love them and will try to improve on the recipe. Note to self: call Aunt Jean. She make it so good.

Um. We bought a new car. New to us. Slightly used certified Honda Pilot.
I'm loving it.

Today we ship Flat Merritt back to Tuscaloosa. She has been with us for two weeks. We are sending her back with a long letter and lots of photos.

We are all caught up now. I'm not promising to be more attentive. March is going to be crazy busy and so much fun. So y'all buckle your seat belts and hang on for the ride.

Shalom!
