Running through the first week and a half of February.
Garden club program was wonderful. A nurseryman from Jamison, Alabama spoke on Thursday. He is well educated and an excellent teacher. He brought some of his wares to sell and I came home with three new blueberry bushes. They are not in the ground, yet, as the weather went from a balmy 80 degrees on Thursday to freezing rain last night (Friday night).
Jason Powell with Petals from the Past.
Friday afternoon we drove to town to take in a traveling Smithsonian waterway exhibit.
I won't give it a thumbs up, but it was local. And free.
Friday night we treated ourselves to our art center's drum performance.

An MSU professor and his students beat their hearts out for an hour.
Drum.
Drummers.
Before we wrap up this week we will take in the rodeo tonight.
It is on my bucket list, as I have never been to a rodeo.
Sister Amanda is spending time at Mom's. She isn't so good. Breathing and swelling and sleeping are issues. She is so tired.
Now I must bid you adieu. Got to go snip some rosemary out my front garden to marinate the pork loin.
Shalom.
